Snow Day

The phone rang at 6 o'clock this morning. That's odd, Jenny's dad calls at 6:30 - on the dot. When I answered it, I heard a recording by someone at the school district letting everyone know that school had been cancelled due to snow. We got about 7 or 8 inches. In our 9+ years here, school has only been cancelled one other time. It's a small community and most of the kids live within 10 blocks of the school - but it would have been very hard for teachers to drive to school.

So, I worked from home today and Mason hung out. I'll be a lot happier when this winter is over - really sick of it!
